    西门子与中华人民共和国教育部(以下简称“教育部”)签订新一轮《教育合作备忘录》,以期在中德合作框架下,面向“中国制造2025”战略培养*型人才。双方合作的范围将涉及智能制造*实践基地建设、智能制造方向*共建、教师应用技术能力提升、教学资源建设学生工程能力认证,联合举办“西门子杯”中国智能制造挑战赛等。

    西门子大中华区首席执行官赫尔曼与教育部副部长林蕙青代表双方签署了备忘录。“自2011年签署教育合作备忘录以来,这五年西门子与教育部之间的合作成效显著,对中国工程人才教育的发展也是有意义的。”林蕙青副部长表示,“中国目前处于产业转型发展的历史进程中,我们需要大量具工程实践能力的人才。德国有‘工业4.0’,中国有‘中国制造2025’这样的全局战略,我们需要培养学生的*精神,实践动手能力,以适应新的历史时期人才发展的需要。”

    “未来制造业的发展趋势充分表明我们与教育部五年前开始的合作富有远见且意义非凡。”赫尔曼说,“‘数字化’时代需要‘数字化’的人才。今天我们与中国的教育机构携手培养的人才将成为未来中国制造业发展的中坚力量,这正体现了我们新的*宣言‘博大精深,同心致远’所蕴含的意义。”

    自2011年2月与教育部签订《教育合作备忘录》以来,西门子在教育部现有政策的框架下就课程体系建设、教学资源建设、师资队伍建设、实践环境建设、*型竞赛等五个方面全面支持教育部的工作。基于该合作备忘录,2011至2015年底,西门子在中国的教育领域累计投入现金、设备等约合人民币7.11亿元。此外,西门子还与中国多所大学和职业院校开展了多样化的合作。截至2015年,西门子已与院校合作在全国建成超过300个实验室,投入新开发电气自动化类、机械类教材数量为56种,西门子主办的教师培训、教育论坛以及各种研讨会和讲座年均使800多名教师受益。此外,自2006年以来,西门子发起并赞助了九届“西门子杯”全国大学生工业自动化挑战赛,并连续赞助了五届全国数控技能大赛,培养了万余名工程人才。

    Siemens renewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Educational Cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (MOE), in a bid to boost cultivation of innovation-oriented talents for China’s national strategy “Made in China 2025” under the framework of Sino-German cooperation. The renewed cooperation will cover construction of intelligent manufacturing innovation practice bases, development of degree programs on intelligent manufacturing, enhancement of teachers’ ability to apply technologies, certification of teaching resources and students’ competence in engineering and organization of the “Siemens Cup” China Intelligent Manufacturing Contest.

    The memorandum was jointly inked by Lothar Herrmann, CEO Siemens Greater China, and Lin Huiqing, Vice Minister of China’s Ministry of Education. “Solid achievements have been made in the past 5 years between Siemens and China’s Ministry of Education since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on educational cooperation in 2011. The cooperation is of significance to the development of China’s engineering talents.” said Lin Huiqing, “Currently, China is under the historical process of industrial transformation, which results in a huge demand for practical engineering talents. Under the context of Germany’s ‘Industrie 4.0’ and China’s ‘Made in China 2025’ strategy, we’re faced with the necessity to nurture students’ innovation spirit and hands-on ability so as to cope with the needs of future manufacturing development.”

    “The trend of future of manufacturing clearly proved that our partnership, which started five years ago, was visionary and meaningful,” said Lothar Herrmann. “‘Digital age’ requires ‘digital talents’. The talents that we incubate today will become backbone for China’s manufacturing industry tomorrow. This reflects what we call as ‘Ingenuity for life’, or in Chinese ‘BO DA JING SHEN, TONG XIN ZHI YUAN’.”


    Since its signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Educational Cooperation in February 2011, Siemens has been fully supporting MoE’s work in line with the policy framework of the Ministry in five areas, namely construction of curriculum system, teaching resources, faculty, and building up a favorable environment for social practice and innovation competition. Pursuant to the memorandum, from 2011 to the end of 2015, the company has invested cash, equipment and software equivalent to total RMB 711 million in education in China. The company has cooperated with a number of Chinese universities and vocational colleges in various forms. As of 2015 it had built more than 300 laboratories across China in cooperation with local universities and colleges and invested in development of 56 textbooks on electrical automation and machinery. Siemens delivers training in various forms from teacher programs and educational forums to seminars and lectures, benefiting more than 800 teachers on average every year. Moreover, the company exclusively sponsored the “Siemens Cup” National Undergraduates Industry Automation Contest, an event initiated in 2006, for nine years and funded the China CNC Skills Competition for five years, setting the stage for the cultivation of more than 10,000 engineering talents in total.
